Ask-Clinic: instant answers about your own care

Patients ask about their own appointments, prescriptions and lab results in everyday words. They get an instant, accurate answer. No hold music, no portal maze, no waiting on the front desk.

The Ask-Clinic assistant answering a patient's questions about their medications and next appointment

Every clinic runs on the same handful of small questions, asked over and over. When is my next appointment? What did my last blood test say? Which medications am I still on? Today the answer usually means a phone call, a wait on hold, or a hunt through a login-heavy patient portal. For the clinic, it means staff reading records aloud instead of caring for patients.

Ask-Clinic replaces that friction with a single question box. A signed-in patient types what they want to know in plain English, and gets the answer straight from their own records: appointments, prescriptions and lab results. No forms, no menus, nothing to learn. If a question falls outside their records, it says so instead of guessing.

Every answer comes from the clinic's own data, and a patient only ever sees their own. The result is the convenience of a chatbot with the trust of the front desk.

How it works

Three steps, and only the first one asks anything of the patient:

  • Ask. The patient types a question in plain English, like "When is my next appointment?" or "What were my last cholesterol results?" No menus, no medical codes, nothing to learn.
  • Answer. Ask-Clinic reads that patient's own records and replies in seconds, in clear everyday language, naming the appointment, prescription or result it drew from.
  • Only their data. Each patient sees only their own records, and every answer comes from them. If a question falls outside those records, the assistant says so instead of guessing.

See it in action

Ask-Clinic is live and ready to try. You sign in as a sample patient and ask anything about their care: the next visit, a recent lab result, the medications they take. The answer streams back in plain language, drawn only from that patient's own records, with the appointment or result it used shown right alongside.

Why it matters

For a clinic, the value shows up on day one:

  • Fewer front-desk calls. The repeat questions ("when is my visit", "what did my test say", "which meds am I on") answer themselves, so staff spend their time on care instead of the phone.
  • Help around the clock. Patients get an answer at 11pm or on a Sunday, with no callback and no waiting for the office to open.
  • Private by design. Each patient only ever sees their own records, and the assistant answers only from them. Anything outside those records, it declines.
  • Nothing to install. It lives on the clinic's own website, so patients just type a question. No app to download, nothing to learn.
